About the role
Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipe guidelines

Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and safety procedures

Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service

Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the supervisor

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items and utensils

Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes

Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service industry preferred

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
