Senior Auditor
About the role
Our client, a well known and public company in the Manufacturing sector is hiring a Senior Auditor!
The Senior Auditor will act as a Team Lead for a variety of internal audit assignments which will include SOX controls testing, audit projects, process review and other projects as assigned.
Duties, not limited to but will include the following:
- Conduct data-driven assessments to uncover patterns, validate findings, and support internal assurance and compliance initiatives
- Design and carry out review activities, summarizing outcomes and delivering insights to executive leadership and audit leads
- Create targeted review strategies based on organizational priorities and identify areas of potential exposure or concern
- Evaluate current workflows to uncover gaps and suggest enhancements to strengthen oversight and governance
- Share observations with senior stakeholders, including internal review teams and executive leadership
- Collaborate with third-party partners during independent reviews and assurance-related assignments
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of internal audit practices, testing approaches and SOX compliance
- Knowledge of control frameworks and governance activites
- Experienced with digital transformations activites, proccess automation, data analytics
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience with large ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP
- Minimum 4 yrs working in internal audit
- Professional designation (will consider CPA, CFE, CISA, CIA)
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to travel (internationally)
- Ability to be on site, in office 3d/week
