About the role
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Claims Broker Advocate / Analyst to replace a retiring industry veteran. This individual will play a critical, client-facing role in advocating for commercial clients across all lines of P&C insurance, including construction and Lloyd’s of London claims. The role demands advanced policy interpretation, complex claims strategy, and negotiation skills – all executed independently and with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end client claims advocacy and resolution
- Interpret insurance policy wordings and strategize for coverage
- Handle complex commercial and construction claims
- Negotiate directly with carriers and Lloyd’s syndicates
- Provide claims reviews, reports, and strategic insights to clients
- Act as the client-facing expert on claim trends and risks
- Operate independently and onboard quickly to systems and clients
REQUIREMENTS
- RIBO license required (or equivalent)
- CIP, CAIB, or in-progress designation strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in P&C insurance claims
- Strong understanding of Lloyd’s market and construction losses
- Advanced negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage large, complex claims independently
