Job Description
Total Systems Solutions Consulting Inc. (https://totalsystems.ca) is recruiting a Generalist Project Manager to support the WorkBC Modernization Engagement initiative. This role involves project managing the development and implementation of government social sector programs and large-scale policy modernization initiatives, with a focus on the inclusive, person-centered evolution of employment services in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities supporting the WorkBC Modernization initiative
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and feedback integration
- Guide project planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple workstreams
- Support documentation for business outcomes, current state assessments, and strategic reports
- Collaborate with service providers, internal stakeholders, and policy leads
- Monitor progress and ensure alignment with MSDPR objectives and timelines
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing large-scale government social sector programs or policy projects
- Previous involvement in BC Government procurement processes is an asset
- Proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary subjects such as policy, finance, citizen services, and performance measurement
- Experience working with multi-stakeholder groups and government agencies
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a public sector environment
- Ability to synthesize diverse information and produce actionable plans
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools
- Self-driven and comfortable operating in a remote, fast-paced setting
Contract and Working Conditions
- Contracted via Total Systems Solutions Consulting Inc.
- Remote position with availability required during BC Government business hours (PST)
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour
