Purpose Chemetics Inc. (Worley Group) is a diversified technology company that provides design and engineering solutions to the chloralkaline, sodium chlorate, chlorine dioxide, and sulphuric acid industries worldwide. It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures, talents, and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering, ON.
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Student. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON Canada.
The Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Student will support the Welding Engineer by assisting with the organization, documentation, and preparation of welding procedures.
Responsibilities
- An interest in engineering.
- Ability to work under tight timelines which require strong organization and time management skills.
What You Will Bring Technical and Industry Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Good communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills required.
Required Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a recognized Mechanical Engineering Degree program.
