Ready to put your corporation and foundation fundraising talent to work for a cause that matters?
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and strategic Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to join a fast-moving and mission-driven team that’s protecting the future of Canada’s wild spaces. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead national efforts to secure corporate, foundation, and major giving partnerships, driving real, measurable progress in the fight to preserve our lands, waters, and wildlife.
This is more than a fundraising role. It’s a chance to use your skills in relationship-building, strategic planning, and values-driven philanthropy to influence the future of conservation across the country.
You’ll also act as a team lead for a Junior Corporate & Foundation Advisor, supporting their development and ensuring alignment across all partnership strategies.
Why this role matters:
You’ll be a key player in shaping the growth of a respected national organization, backed by a network of regional chapters, passionate supporters, and long-standing partnerships. You’ll bring vision to the fundraising strategy, build meaningful donor journeys, and turn values into action.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the strategy and execution of corporate, foundation, and major giving programs across Canada
- Build long-term donor relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and shared mission
- Design smart, scalable fundraising plans—setting targets and refining approaches alongside senior leadership
- Drive prospecting and outreach efforts to bring new partners into the fold
- Serve as the go-to contact for major giving inquiries and engagement
- Prepare and deliver donor updates, impact reports, and campaign performance metrics
- Collaborate with regional and program teams to ensure donors are connected to the work they’re supporting
- Work closely with communications to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns
- Track performance data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Ensure fundraising practices meet ethical, legal, and organizational standards
What we’re looking for:
- A natural relationship-builder with a strong track record in corporate, foundation, or major giving
- A strategic thinker who sees the big picture but doesn’t miss the details
- 3+ years of success in fundraising, business development, or philanthropic partnerships
- Passion for environmental protection, climate action, and conservation
- Excellent communicator—written and verbal—with strong storytelling instincts
- Strong organizational chops and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with grace
- A collaborative, inclusive, and adaptable approach to team work
If you’re energized by purpose, driven by impact, and ready to help fund a greener future—this could be your next big move.
Apply now to be part of something meaningful.
