About the role

ORGANIZATION PROFILE – CLH is the region’s largest service provider for individuals with developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome and Autism. We are dedicated to helping them achieve their full potential, be included in our community, and, ultimately, build great lives.

We offer widely recognized expertise and serve more than 1,600 people with special needs every year – from children to aging seniors. We offer community participation programs, residential services, respite services, employment supports, and services designed for children.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Temporary IT Support & Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team for a period of two (2) years. This position is based in Hamilton, ON and reports to the Senior Manager, Quality & Risk. The role plays a vital part in ensuring reliable and effective technology support across all our facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee and support company hardware and communication technology across all sites

· Perform application account management and maintenance

· Act as subject matter expert for new application implementations

· Serve as primary contact for telecommunications providers

· Administer the mobile device management (MDM) system

· Provide frontline IT troubleshooting and technical support

· Participate in committees and organization-wide IT projects

· Collect, analyze, and report on IT activities

· Identify opportunities for IT service improvement

· Collaborate with service providers on infrastructure issues

· Maintain and update IT asset inventory

· Manage secure documentation of technology assets and credentials

· Administer user management on the Newt phone system

· Serve as webmaster for the public website and SharePoint intranet

· Promote organizational vision and mission

· Comply with health and safety policies and regulations

· Report workplace hazards and support safety improvements

· Always maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

· Completion of a post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field of study

· Proven experience in an IT support or coordinator role

· Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving mindset

· Experience working with MDM platforms and telecom service providers

· Familiarity with network infrastructure and support (firewalls, switches, access points)

· Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, desktop software including but not limited to, Microsoft Office 365 products

· Experience supporting a variety of ERP, CRMS, or similar database systems

· Proficient in maintaining IT asset documentation and inventory tracking

· Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Previous experience with Newt phone systems or similar VoIP platforms

· Knowledge of secure documentation practices

· Experience working with external IT vendors or MSPs

· Valid Police record check

· Valid G class driver’s license with proof of insurance and access to a reliable vehicle

· Able to work flexible hours to accommodate operational needs
