As we continue to expand our presence, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to join our finance team at our Concord, Ontario, home office.


Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role involves managing AR staff, analyzing credit risks, maintaining accurate records, and implementing best practices to improve collection processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

· Leadership and Management:

o Supervise the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.

o Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the AR team.

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Accounts Receivable Operations:

o Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

o Implement efficient AR management policies, including payment terms and credit control.

o Monitor daily invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation of customer accounts.

o Review and approve customer credit limits and assess credit risks.

o Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.

· Customer Relationship Management:

o Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-value customer accounts.

o Resolve disputes and discrepancies professionally and efficiently.

o Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues.


Qualifications:

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
