Recruiter - 1 Year Contract**:**

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing and hiring for multiple technical positions.

How will you contribute to the team?****:

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Manage full cycle recruitment including actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers and negotiating offers

• Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing and guidance on best practices.

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet the hiring requirement including the use of agencies, social media campaigns, job boards and professional networks.

• Support hiring managers post interview by providing input on hiring decisions.

• Source and work with Search Firms when required.

• Leverage all features of LinkedIn to ensure that we are maximizing the use of this tool including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Recruiting Campaigns etc.

• Leverage the applicant tracking system to manage multiple open positions and candidates.

• Create a positive candidate experience (for both selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process.

Education and Experience:

• Post secondary education in a related disciple with 3-5 years in Human Resources with a focus on recruiting in a fast-paced environment with a technical focus (Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
• Familiarity with an applicant tracking system or other recruitment systems is an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
