At OptumInsight (OI), we champion continuous innovation to provide software, network, and data analytics, technology-enabled services, advisory, and revenue cycle management offerings to help make health care work better for everyone. This role is supporting our Enterprise Imaging team within OptumInsight.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Management, the Sr. Product Manager will play a key role in driving the next evolution in enterprise medical imaging in the cloud. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to enable better patient care by harnessing the latest technologies to improve access, diagnosis, and collaboration. You will work with development teams to deliver modern enterprise imaging solutions and Stratus Imaging initiatives. Stratus Imaging is a suite of cloud native enterprise imaging solutions. Stratus Imaging Archive manages images, reducing customer infrastructure costs and making patient data available throughout healthcare organizations and within other Stratus Imaging solutions. The Stratus Imaging Platform provides common capabilities to other Stratus Imaging solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop product strategy: Collaborate with senior management to define the overall product strategy, aligning it with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Product planning and road-mapping: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product vision, key features, and timeline for development. Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, customer needs, and resource availability
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and oversee the development process
  • Market analysis and competitive intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Product performance evaluation: Track and analyze product performance metrics, such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and adoption rates. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product features, pricing, and marketing strategies
  • Stakeholder management: Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and customer support. Collaborate with these teams to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on product goals
  • Acts as an ambassador for the product and as a product subject matter expert

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner in one of the following:
  • Experience working on an industry regulated platform
  • Experience with medical imaging interoperability and data management
  • Experience working and communicating with cross-functional teams and various leadership teams
  • Proven ability to influence others without direct authority
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time throughout the US and Canada
  • Valid passport for international travel or the ability to obtain upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry or with healthcare solutions
  • Experience in the medical imaging industry (specifically cardiology or radiology)
  • Experience with DICOM
  • Experience with HL7
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Experience in effectively managing software solutions through key stages of the lifecycle in a regulated industry
  • Experience working with legacy Change Healthcare and/or McKesson imaging solutions
  • Experience in data management and data interoperability within the medical imaging industry
  • Experience in a lead or mentorship role in the product space

Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $102,000 to $211,800 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
