About the Team:
This small but mighty team is growing and looking for the perfect person to support the current and evolving needs of our clients and the business operations.
Purpose of the Role:
The Client Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients. As a member of a collaborative and client-focused team, the Client Service Associate utilizes exceptional communication, problem-solving and relationship management skills and in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide excellent service to clients and our advisors.
This is a hybrid role based in our Toronto office.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Private Wealth team to deliver an exceptional client experience by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client requests.
- Act as a key contact and subject matter expert for all matters related to Registered Plans (RRSP, TFSA, RESP, RDSP, LIRA, RIF/LIF, FHSA, IPP), including contributions, withdrawals, rollovers, wind-ups, and other plan-specific transactions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Registered Plans for internal teams and advisors, while proactively identifying process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and complete client data in CRM systems (Salesforce), supporting audit checks, reporting, and data integrity controls.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, templates, and operational procedures.
- Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, including experience in operations or client services with a focus on Registered Plans administration.
- Deep understanding of Canadian Registered Plan rules, processing standards, and account types (including RESP, RIF/LIF, RRSP, TFSA, RDSP, FHSA, LIRA, IPP).
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word and experience with Salesforce
- Superior client service and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- An undergraduate degree in business or finance an asset.
- Related financial services certification (CSC, CIM) an asset.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
This position comes with a base salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
