Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant TEMP/CONTRACT (2 months approx) Job ID: #16707479
In-office: Oakville Hourly rate: $20-$23 /hr Industry: Healthcare Summary Our client in the healthcare services space has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable & Admin Assistant for a short term contract.
Duties
- Preparing, coding and entering invoices for payment.
- Monitor accounts to ensure funding approval levels are accurate.
- Ensure accurate banking information is entered into the electronic funds transfer systems.
- Post electronic funds transfer.
- Verify transactions are posted. Correct and repost any discrepancies.
- Purchasing office supplies as needed
- Produce reports, letters, memos and email.
- Filing and maintain filing system for all relevant files.
- Administrative support to HSS Manager and Service Coordinators
- Provide back-up to the front desk as required
Qualifications
- Community College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Previous accounts payable experience in a high volume environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook are required
