Job Title: Senior Consultant – IT Risk Services / Consultant senior - Services de risques informatiques
Location: Toronto, Canada
Duration: 12 months (40 hours per week)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA , CRISC , CGEIT , or ISO27001 .
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT risk assessment or business process risk, preferably in a large consulting environment.
- Hands-on experience in:
- IT risk management and assessments (as an advisor, auditor, or implementor).
- Control testing in various IT environments.
- IT audits including SOX, 52-109, and financial statement audits.
- Strong understanding of business processes, audit risks, and IT environments.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant in the Technology Risk Services team, you will lead and support IT internal audit and advisory engagements. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and risk advisory services to both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct IT risk and control assessments in areas including:
- Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
- IT maturity and risk assessments
- IT governance reviews
- ERP security and controls
- IT project/system implementation reviews
- Access Management
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Cloud Security
- Data Governance
- IT Third-Party Risk Management
- Responsible AI governance
- Lead and manage engagements end-to-end, including planning, execution, and client communication.
- Develop and review risk and control matrices, test plans, and supporting documentation.
- Manage engagement delivery, team coordination, quality assurance, and profitability tracking.
- Handle multiple client projects simultaneously with varying complexity.
- Participate in business development, including proposal creation and client relationship management.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff members.
