Job Title: Senior Consultant – IT Risk Services / Consultant senior - Services de risques informatiques

Location: Toronto, Canada

Duration: 12 months (40 hours per week)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA , CRISC , CGEIT , or ISO27001 .
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT risk assessment or business process risk, preferably in a large consulting environment.
• Hands-on experience in:
• IT risk management and assessments (as an advisor, auditor, or implementor).
• Control testing in various IT environments.
• IT audits including SOX, 52-109, and financial statement audits.
• Strong understanding of business processes, audit risks, and IT environments.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Job Description:

As a Senior Consultant in the Technology Risk Services team, you will lead and support IT internal audit and advisory engagements. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and risk advisory services to both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT risk and control assessments in areas including:
• Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
• IT maturity and risk assessments
• IT governance reviews
• ERP security and controls
• IT project/system implementation reviews
• Access Management
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
• Cloud Security
• Data Governance
• IT Third-Party Risk Management
• Responsible AI governance
• Lead and manage engagements end-to-end, including planning, execution, and client communication.
• Develop and review risk and control matrices, test plans, and supporting documentation.
• Manage engagement delivery, team coordination, quality assurance, and profitability tracking.
• Handle multiple client projects simultaneously with varying complexity.
• Participate in business development, including proposal creation and client relationship management.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff members.
