Senior STEM and AP Psychology Teacher (Grades 11–12)

Location: Queen Margaret’s School – Duncan, BC
Start Date: August 2025
Type: Temporary – Letter of Permission (Annual Reappointment Required)

Queen Margaret’s School is hiring an inspiring and interdisciplinary teacher to lead Grade 11–12 Chemistry, Environmental Science, and AP Psychology. This role is perfect for a dynamic educator who can bridge the natural and social sciences, igniting curiosity and critical thinking in students as they explore the world through labs, fieldwork, and psychological theory.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Love teaching Chemistry with an inquiry-based, lab-centered approach.

  • Can connect environmental science to real-world sustainability issues, ideally through field-based projects.

  • Have experience with AP Psychology and enjoy helping students prepare for post-secondary academic rigour.

  • Bring cross-disciplinary thinking and are excited to guide students through complex global topics.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Background in Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Psychology.

  • Familiarity with AP curriculum and lab safety practices.

  • Experience in experiential learning - field studies, citizen science, or project-based instruction.

  • Passion for senior student engagement and cross-curricular collaboration.

Note: A BC teaching certificate is not required - applicants will be considered under a Letter of Permission.
