What You’ll Like About This Job Tacten is hiring Journeyperson Welders in Sparwood, BC to perform structural welding and inspection support in industrial environments such as refineries and heavy civil sites. This role offers up to $54.50/hr and includes training opportunities in rope access and welding advancement. Ideal candidates will have full CWB certification, strong safety awareness, and a desire to grow within an innovative industrial service team.

What You’ll Need

• Journeyperson Welding Certification
• CWB SMAW all-position certification
• IRATA Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with GTAW, GMAW, FCAW processes
• Knowledge of CSA W47.1 and W59 standards
• Ability to relocate or reside in Sparwood or Fernie, BC

What Will Make You Stand Out

• V-deck or elevated work platform experience
• NDT familiarity (visual, dye penetrant, mag particle)
• Experience with heat trace, proxy switches, and structural fit-up
• High safety standards and precision welding skill
