Position Summary:
As a Landscape Technician, you will assist in installing and maintaining various landscape elements, contributing to beautiful and sustainable outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate is passionate about landscaping, enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks such as installing sod, trimming shrubs and hedges, installing gardens and garden walls.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, etc.).
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
- Provide support to the Gardening and Maintenance teams as may be required, or directed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong oral communication and listening skills.
- Previous experience with installing garden beds, sod, river wash, and planting, while not required, is an asset.
- Physical endurance to lift, bend, dig, and perform manual labour for extended periods.
- A valid Full G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is required.
