Summary

The Community Campaign Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing the 2025 Community Campaign, with an emphasis on building relationships, developing new donors/workplace campaign relationships, and reaching our annual campaign target. This outward facing, results-orientated role requires a fundraising specialist who is organized, outgoing and passionate about engaging and collaborating with community to achieve annual fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute of all facets of annual campaign:
  • Updating and refining training and promotional materials
  • Travelling to work/business sites to provide on-site support.
  • Deliver United Way presentations to businesses, industry, and other potential donor groups.
  • With the support of senior leadership, assume leadership role with new and existing workplace campaigns.
  • Builds strong relationships with a variety of stakeholder audiences; establishes positive relationships with volunteers, sponsors, donors and employees.
  • Acts as a United Way ambassador internal/external events.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and timelines to handle multiple projects in an efficient, accurate and professional manner
  • Self motivated and innovative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Above average computer skills with experience in use of Microsoft Office Professional
  • Proficient in use of Database Software[PG1] [MF2]
  • Demonstrated success in public relations and promotion.
