Role Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Web Developer to join our core product team. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON , with flexibility for remote work. You'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications, both frontend and backend, that power the DiligenceGPT ecosystem.
You'll be working directly with our product and AI teams to build enterprise-grade tools for investors, fund managers, and analysts around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end web applications using the MERN stack (Mongo, Express, React, Node.js)
- Collaborate with design, AI/ML, and product teams to bring new features and tools to life
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Maintain and enhance secure integrations with AWS, GCP, and external APIs
- Own code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Help shape technical architecture and contribute to strategic product decisions
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development
- Strong back-end development experience (Node.js, Express, MongoDB)
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
- Experience deploying and scaling on AWS or GCP
- Comfort with APIs, microservices, and database architecture
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Bonus: Experience in startups or fast-paced product environments
Nice to Have (Bonus Stack):
- Experience with LlamaIndex , OpenAI APIs , or vector databases like Pinecone
- Familiarity with Julia or other scientific computing languages
- Exposure to AI, LLMs, or intelligent data pipelines
