About the role
PeopleSoft Integration Developer (Canada or LatAm)
Remote - Canada | Contract
Our client, a leading force in the scheduling application industry, provides advanced HR and scheduling software solutions to prestigious clients, including Starbucks, AirFrance, and various governmental and health organizations. With a global presence, including a dedicated team in Canada, the US, Croatia, and more, they are now seeking to add a skilled PeopleSoft Integration Developer to their team for an upcoming project lasting 8 months or more (alternatively, the role can also be filled part-time over 18 months).
A slight preference will be given to candidates located in Toronto in case an occasional in-person meeting is required, although the role is fully remote. Candidates can be located in Canada or Latin America.
Project context
Our client is building its first connector to PeopleSoft HCM, enabling it to ingest organisational data (employees, job codes, and cost centres) and later push approved time-and-attendance records back out.
What you’ll do:
Design and build interfaces with PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, PeopleTools, REST/SOAP.
Map/transform employee and skills datasets; implement robust error handling and retries.
Collaborate with the Epic-integration counterpart to keep data models aligned.
Participate in requirement-gathering workshops with customer SMEs; document and validate assumptions.
Support unit, integration and UAT cycles; own defect triage and smoke-tests.
Transfer knowledge to the company’s API team through clear docs and walkthroughs.
Must-have experience:
5+ yrs developing integrations with 2+ years of PeopleSoft HCM integration experience in enterprise settings.
Deep hands-on skills with PeopleCode, App Designer, Integration Broker, and Oracle/SQL tuning.
Proven ability to own interface design, not just code tasks.
Exposure to healthcare or similarly regulated environments is a plus.
Strong client-facing English communication.
Nice to have:
Outbound payroll/time-card interface experience.
Middleware familiarity (Mirth, MuleSoft, Boomi).
Of Note:
Completed background checks will be required before the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate.
While we strive to respond to all applicants, please understand that due to the high volume of applications we receive, it may not be feasible to provide individual feedback or responses to every candidate. Rest assured that your application will be carefully reviewed and considered. We appreciate your understanding and interest in joining our team.
