About the role
Some of what you will do:
The Retail Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of clear and timely communications to our retail store network. This role plays a key part in ensuring that store associates are informed, engaged, and equipped with the information they need to support business priorities.
The successful candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working across departments to turn complex information into communications that are simple, engaging, and actionable.
Specifically, You Will:
Content Development & Delivery
- Own the development and delivery of clear, concise field-facing messages using a variety of internal channels.
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of content related to programs, campaigns, initiatives, and store-level updates.
- Review and proofread communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and tone. Ability to provide feedback on French-language content is a strong asset.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with business partners to gather content, define communication plans (timing, method, audience), and ensure alignment with communication standards.
- Act as the primary contact for cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of communications related to sales and service initiatives.
Content Management & Platform Oversight
- Manage content for all store communications platforms being responsible for organizing, reviewing, and approving all retail-specific content.
- Audit and maintain content regularly by identifying gaps, reporting issues, and collaborating with content owners to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Some of what you need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Bilingualism is a strong asset.
- 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, content-focused roles, or retail operations.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
