We are building AI-powered solutions that transform how public companies engage with investors, manage compliance, and communicate with markets. Our clients are CEOs, CFOs, and investor relations professionals, with an initial focus on small- and micro-cap issuers across North America. With early traction in place, we are now focused on scaling growth through targeted outreach and conversion of both outbound and inbound opportunities.

The Role

We are hiring a Head of Business Development to lead the growth of our revenue pipeline through a combination of outbound automation and full-cycle sales. This role is responsible for:

  • Building and running a high-performing LinkedIn-based outbound automation program
  • Personally managing the entire sales process from outreach to close for outbound leads
  • Developing and owning the inbound sales process for leads generated through marketing and platform interest
  • Managing and mentoring an existing business development representative (BDR)
  • Building the foundation for a scalable sales organization

This is a critical early-stage leadership role for a candidate who can own execution while building repeatable systems for growth.

Core Responsibilities

Outbound Automation and Lead Generation (Primary Focus)

  • Design and manage outbound campaigns using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and automation tools such as Dux-Soup, Waalaxy, Expandi, or similar
  • Develop and test multi-step messaging sequences tailored to C-suite and IR executives at public companies
  • Manage enrichment and list-building workflows using tools such as PhantomBuster, Apollo, and SalesQL
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize to improve connection, response, and conversion rates
  • Build and document outbound playbooks, campaign libraries, and workflows for future use and scaling

Sales Execution and Closing

  • Personally handle full-cycle sales for both outbound and inbound opportunities
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations with public company executives
  • Draft proposals, manage objections, and close new clients
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting across the sales funnel

Inbound Sales Process Development

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define qualification criteria for inbound leads
  • Design and implement an efficient, scalable inbound sales process
  • Define workflows, hand-off criteria, and messaging sequences to convert inbound interest into revenue

Team Management and Scaling

  • Manage and mentor an existing BDR to support execution of outbound and inbound campaigns
  • Provide direction, structure, and hands-on coaching to improve output and effectiveness
  • Contribute to future hiring and onboarding of additional SDRs and closers as the sales team grows

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B business development or sales, preferably in SaaS, AI, or technology for regulated industries
  • Proven experience building successful LinkedIn automation campaigns with tools such as Dux-Soup, Waalaxy, Expandi, or Zopto
  • Strong copywriting and personalization skills for outreach to executive-level contacts
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle sales, including closing deals with senior decision-makers
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and enrichment tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, PhantomBuster, and SalesQL
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Ability to build repeatable sales systems, workflows, and documentation from scratch

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to public companies (TSXV, CSE, OTCQB, NASDAQ, etc.)
  • Familiarity with investor relations, capital markets, or compliance functions
  • Experience in a startup or early-stage company environment
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and reporting frameworks
