About the role
Our client, a prominent leader in large-scale infrastructure development, is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Realty & Legal Liaison to join their Property Acquisition Team. In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day administration and oversight of the organization’s real estate portfolio.
- Contract: up until November 2025 (possibility of extension)
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Work model: Hybrid
- Location: Downtown
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and maintain property acquisition documentation.
- Track outstanding documents and action items to ensure acquisition timelines are met, escalating delays when necessary.
- Keep property data accurate and up-to-date to support reporting on acquisitions, expropriations, and project delivery.
- Review and assess land and real estate documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Identify risks, prioritize issues, and recommend improvements to support timely acquisitions.
- Ensure real estate data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct research on property data to inform decision-making.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for project tracking and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in a legal/real estate transaction position.
- Familiarity with infrastructure projects and public property acquisition is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with GIS systems and related software is an advantage.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to process large volumes of data efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
