Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Montreal or Toronto office is looking for a new National Sea Logistics Trade Lane Manager, Transatlantic to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role We are looking to hire an experienced National Sea Logistics Development Manager, Transatlantic. This role would be responsible to promote and develop the organization's Transatlantic Trade by driving the overall strategy in alignment with company goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Transatlantic Trade.
  • Drive strategy of the trade to ensure achievement of growth targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market knowledge and by leveraging our network.
  • Assist the sales teams in identifying and preparing solutions for client needs.
  • Support various teams with client presentations.
  • Prepare market updates to be shared both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with overseas offices to drive growth.
  • Travel requirements both international and domestic.
  • Other job duties as required from time to time.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • 5+ years in a sea logistics environment.
  • Strong foundation in sea freight sales, operations, pricing, carrier network and trade lane knowledge (transatlantic).
  • College or University diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite asset.
  • English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • French communication skills both written and verbal – an asset.
  • Customer service skills dealing with customers at a high level.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to lead in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chains and how they work.
  • Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn new software suites.
  • Dispute resolution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-moving environment.
  • International and domestic travel as needed.
