As we expand our service department to include a new line of hybrid and electric vehicles, we're excited to welcome an experienced automotive lot attendant driver to join our dynamic team.

In this key role, your main goal will be to assist in improving dealership operation efficiency by supporting the service department and workshop team by organizing the dealership’s vehicle inventory and helping valet client vehicles within our facility grounds ensuring the efficient movement and parking of vehicles while maintaining the overall organized appearance of the lot and to improve efficiency.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30AM to 5:15PM
  • 8.75 Hour Regular Daily Shift
  • Up to 1 Hour Lunch Break
  • Requires use of the ADP Workforce biometric fingerprint time-clock machine for hourly timekeeping and payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Valet client vehicles in and out of the service drive-through.
  • Read service schedule appointments to plan for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Arrange and organize vehicles in appropriate areas of dealership parking lot while maximizing space, efficiency and overall appearance.
  • Maintain lot cleanliness, organization and security.
  • Inspect and report any vehicle damages.
  • Inventory and physically move loose vehicle wheels within the workshop.
  • Winter: Clear snow off client and inventory vehicles during winter months.
  • Winter: Clear snow and ice from pathways and lot during winter months.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities as the business needs develop.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Service and Workshop teams.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
  • Ability to read and understand English fluently.
  • Requires safe use and understanding of digital mobile phone for company communications and planning.
  • Understanding of car basics such as boosting car batteries, driving manual transmission vehicles, precise parking skills.
  • Ability and enjoy working in outdoor conditions year-round through all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow and ice.
  • Ability to physically move heavy objects such as loose vehicle wheels, salt bags, snow, and other needed tasks.
  • Hard working, punctual and organized.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with little supervision, including the ability to work as directed by management or service team members.

Employment Requirements

  • Have and maintain a valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
  • 90-Day employment probation subject to performance review.
  • Required enrollment in employee contributed Company Group Health Insurance Program starting after 90-day employment probation period.
  • Requires understanding and use of company uniform policies including required protective safety gear, and dress according to weather conditions.
  • Requires the ability to read and understand additional job requirements provided in full employment contract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 43.75 per week
