Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller located in Cobourg, ON. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The role involves analyzing financial data, managing budgets and forecasts, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. Additional responsibilities include coordinating audits and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. The role will report to 2 active Partners in the business and be guided by outside National Accounting firm.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Accounting and Finance skills
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Proficient in financial analysis and budget management
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
