The Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team, on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care and possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation under the pre-unification framework) is required
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a public accounting firm or internal finance team
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems; experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is an asset
  • Familiarity with OHRS, MIS Trial Balance, OHA dashboards, Power BI, and/or Cube is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across departments
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Kemptville District Hospital’s financial health and operational effectiveness. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on accounting support, insightful financial analysis, and operational guidance that informs decisions across the organization.

The analyst ensures the accurate execution of financial processes, leads effective reporting, and continuous improvement in finance-related activities. Working closely with the Finance team, clinical leadership, and operational partners, this role supports both technical accounting and broader financial planning functions.

Start Date: August 14, 2025

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and two COVID shots plus a booster shot. ​​This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
