Position Overview A s the Digital Product Manager, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of digital product initiatives across our digital platforms. In this role, you will shape product visions, define platform strategies, and provide data-driven recommendations to support content and functionality decisions. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Technology and overseeing one direct report, you will be an integral member of the IT team, collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the organization to drive digital innovation and business value.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage entire digital product life-cycle from strategic planning and functionality to post market entry/delivery
- Assist with defining both digital product strategies, roadmap as well as digital product visions
- Evaluate and analyze the progress of digital products on a regular basis
- Identify opportunities to utilize additional platform functionality to improve user experience
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities or threats to company products
- Ensure adequate platform and process documentation exists and remains up-to-date
- Engage with cross-functional teams to support a wide range of strategic initiatives through data extraction, analysis, and the effective use of digital platform insights.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, PR, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience. Agency background is preferred.
- A passion for digital content, consumer experience, and connecting with an audience
- A strong understanding of the consumer digital content marketplace, trends, and best practices
- Previous experience working with Trello, Jira and Confluence
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of visual communication
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter able to take initiative, unafraid to suggest and try new approaches, ability to look at the abstract
- A team player with the ability to work independently at times and confidence to lead a small team
- Knowledge of software development processes and relational data
- Knowledge of the fitness industry and Pilates considered an asset.
