We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Analyst, Anaplan to join our Finance team in Langley, BC. Reporting to the Lead Anaplan Model Builder, you will be responsible for supporting the Anaplan model-building team by maintaining tools and models within the connected planning platform to help transform, modernize, and streamline key finance functions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable planning models that support decision-making and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for:
- Participating in various Anaplan projects, supporting new enhancements and streamlining existing models to automate and improve processes.
- Assisting in requirements-gathering sessions by actively listening to end-users, understanding their challenges, and translating them into actionable solutions.
- Maintaining documentation and supporting best practices for model development within the team.
- Supporting end-users with training for onboarding and adoption of Anaplan.
- Maintaining and monitoring the Data Hub within the Anaplan connected planning platform, in partnership with Financial Systems and IT teams, to ensure data integrity.
- Supporting development testing by executing test cases, documenting outcomes, and reporting issues or inconsistencies to the model development team.
- Providing timely assistance to users for access to the Anaplan model, dashboards, or account configurations to ensure smooth platform interaction.
- Contributing to the smooth and efficient deployment and maintenance of models.
You have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, IT/computer science or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles, such as the mechanism of debits, credits, trial balance, balance sheets and P&L.
- Experience in data analysis, system development and process improvement.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, VBA, and Power Query.
- Experience in reporting and building reports through data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau is an asset.
- Exposure to database software or languages such as Oracle Essbase, Azure/AWS, SQL, Python, and R is an asset.
- Experience with Anaplan or a similar connected finance system is an asset.

- A problem solver with strong analytical skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
