Compensation: 90,000 to 100,000 (Base +Commission) + Vehicle or Car Allowance
About The Role OUr Client is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to join a growing team specializing in interior doors, hardware, baseboards, and trim . This role is ideal for someone who understands the finishing stage of residential construction and enjoys working closely with home builders, contractors, and renovation professionals.
This position is primarily office-based (approximately 80%), with site visits as needed (20%) to meet with clients, support active projects, and ensure product satisfaction. You'll work directly with clients, provide quotes, manage orders, and coordinate internally to ensure projects run smoothly from selection to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales and client relationships for a product portfolio including interior doors, door hardware, baseboards, and trim
- Provide in-office support for clients, including pricing, product guidance, quoting, and order coordination
- Conduct occasional site visits to support builders and contractors, attend walkthroughs, and resolve field questions
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and install teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts
- Track sales activity, project updates, and follow-ups using internal systems
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of experience in building materials sales or construction-related customer service
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS AND DO TAKEOFFS and ESTIMATING
- Strong product knowledge of finishing materials (doors, hardware, baseboards, trim) is a major asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple client needs at once
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional site travel
