Job Description

AECOM is searching for IT Infrastructure Specialist for an on-site position with a project based in Fredericton, NB.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and configure user workstations, printers, and network equipment.

  • Install and configure project-specific software (e.g., BIM tools, Document Management tools).

  • Provide first-line technical support and troubleshoot software or hardware issues.

  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding from an IT access standpoint.

  • Interface with software providers for installation support, updates, and technical issue resolution.

  • Monitor vendor support agreements and service levels.

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software licenses.

  • Ensure compliance with license terms and prepare for audits.

  • Coordinate renewals and optimize licensing models with procurement.

  • Track and manage IT assets allocated to staff.

  • Enforce cybersecurity protocols and access control in line with corporate policy.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in providing support for industrial software including web based applications and databases
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly resolve issues and support needs
  • Experience working with large corporations and multi discoplinary teams
