Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for animals and team culture? Central Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our dedicated and compassionate team.

Central Animal Hospital is a progressive, fast-paced small animal practice committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care and a supportive work environment. We pride ourselves on teamwork, respect, and client-centered service.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership and management experience, ideally in a healthcare or service-based environment. While veterinary experience is a bonus, it’s not required. We’ll teach you the animal care side. What we need is someone who can bring out the best in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the hospital
- Manage staff scheduling, performance, and development
- Support a positive and collaborative team culture
- Partner with veterinarians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
- Monitor financial performance and help drive clinic goals
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
What You Bring:
- Proven leadership experience in a management role (2+ years)
- Strong people management, communication, and organizational skills
- A business-minded approach with the ability to read and interpret Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, identify opportunities for improvement and support financial performance goals
- Comfort working with KPIs, budgets, and clinic metrics to support operational decisions
- Ability to coach, support, and lead a diverse team to preform at their best
- Adaptability, accountability, and a solution-focused mindset
- Experience in veterinary or healthcare setting is an asset, but not required
