We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Anti Money Laundering Analyst to join our compliance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with money laundering activities. This position requires a strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to conduct thorough investigations. As an Anti Money Laundering Analyst, you will contribute to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of customer accounts to identify suspicious activity and potential money laundering risks.
- Analyze transaction patterns and behaviors to detect anomalies that may indicate illicit activities.
- Perform financial auditing and internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for further action or investigation.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies as needed during investigations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to anti-money laundering efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in financial auditing or internal audits is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
