About the role

Opportunities delivered Looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within Purolator? This is your opportunity to help us deliver on our customers’ promises.

Shift: Monday to Friday: 4:00pm to 6:00pm (10 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $18.72/hour

Description The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks

Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out

Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer

Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles

Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items

Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Additional Responsibilities Must possess a valid Class 5 drivers license to move/park vehicles.

Experience Specialized education is not required.

No experience necessary.
