Who you are
- 2+ years of solutions marketing or product marketing experience for an enterprise-focused software, SaaS, or web services company
- Comfortable working with and marketing to technical buyers within enterprises
- Experience creating product and/or solutions-specific messaging and content
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills, can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Sense of personal responsibility and ownership
- Ability to drive programs from initiation to success
- Familiarity with Okta technology or Identity and Access Management
- Comfortable marketing to mix of executive and technical audiences
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Staff Product Marketing Manager, this role will join our Identity Management PMM team to help execute go-to-market activities. This role will support the expanding Identity Management capabilities within the Okta Platform
- Be a storyteller: Help create compelling messaging and positioning, taking technical inputs and turn them into value-focused content that accelerates buying cycles
- Be a project leader: Assist the broader team launch new features, engaging with key stakeholders to gain inputs and ensure deadlines are met
- Become a subject matter expert: Learn the Okta Platform and, in turn, equip sellers with the knowledge and resources they need to demonstrate the value of our offerings at every step of the purchase cycle
- Be a partner: Gain to understand cross-functional needs in Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, and Sales and bring learned insights to incorporate into PMM deliverables
