We are seeking Senior, Business Operations Specialist to join our Pensions Centre of Excellence team. As a member of the Pensions Centre of Excellence team, you will engage in the following:
Prepare executive communications including briefings, reports, and presentations for the Chief Pension Officer
Take a lead role in planning and delivering cross-department Pensions events (e.g., Townhalls, People-Leader Forums), while also supporting additional enterprise-wide events as needed, while ensuring high-quality results
Prepare and manage presentation materials for senior governance committees (MSC, ELT, OC), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Lead leadership offsites with a focus on team strategy, ensuring sessions are well-designed, aligned to goals, and deliver clear outcomes
Maintain and improve internal team processes and documentation to support consistent, efficient delivery
Lead the member photos process by coordinating with internal departments, reaching out to members and employers, and managing logistics end-to-end
To succeed in this role, you have:
A university/college degree with a focus in management, operations, or equivalent practical experience
3-5 years of Operational & Strategic planning experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and easily able to adapt to competing priorities
Prior event planning experience is an asset
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in reports, documentation, and processes
Ability to work effectively with various departments to drive initiatives and optimize processes
A history of making an impact and delivering superior results in the short and long term
Superior PowerPoint and presentation skills (designer level experience considered an asset)
Knowledge of pension plans, systems and processes is an asset
