About the role
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative provides service to our Canadian field sales representatives and North American customers with placing orders, technical information, pricing of products and delivery information. The focus is to ensure customer expectations are met; sales are maximized; and relationships are developed and maintained through efficient communication, organization, and account management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Respond promptly and effectively to incoming phone calls and emails from our customers and territory sales supports.

Accurately process orders and respond to inquiries for both internal and external customers.

Provide technical information to customers to assist in their selection of current product for their application.

Supply accurate information to our customers and territory sales representatives on availability, pricing, policies regarding freight allowances, quantity discounts, and warranty information.

Facilitate the handling of customer concerns or requests through collaboration with appropriate departments; including billing questions, shipment discrepancies, returned goods and requests for dimensional and submittal data.

Assist in gathering information for special pricing which may include market comparison information and or historical trend research.

Required to process sales orders and returns, monitor order turnaround time, expedite / prioritize processes to escalate orders and issues and communicate customer credit holds or issues and provide order-tracking reports.

May assist in the quotation process, including both written and verbal quotations.

Uphold our prided service level of consistent and prompt communication to all customers regarding the status of orders and inquiries.

Respond to customer inquiries on our social media channels.

Other duties and projects as assigned.
Salary range is $50,000 - $55,000
Experience

- 3 - 5 years: Previous customer facing positions which require relationship building with repeat customers
