About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced AV Meeting Room Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing audiovisual systems for meeting rooms, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams and modern workplace environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Design and implement audiovisual systems for meeting rooms, including video conferencing systems, sound systems, and presentation systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams and modern workplace solutions, with the ability to leverage these platforms to enhance meeting room experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide AV solutions that meet their needs.
  • Create detailed design documents and diagrams to outline system layout and equipment specifications.
  • Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends to ensure our systems are up-to-date and provide the best user experience.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors during the installation process.
  • Provide training to end-users on how to use the AV systems effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the AV systems.

Preferred Qualifications Required for Position (Not Mandatory, but nice to have:

  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, MS-700 or equivalent
  • Skilled in using CAD and system design software such as or similar software not on this list:
    • AutoCAD
    • Visio
    • Revit
    • D-Tools or Stardraw
  • Familiarity with DSP programming interfaces and control systems programming (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron).
  • Crestron or Q-SYS programming certification and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an AV designer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems and equipment, including video conferencing systems, sound systems, digital signage, and presentation systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and modern workplace solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms configuration experience
