Position Overview Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, APAC, this role involves a mix of sales, marketing and customer service support. The core objectives of this role are to support the Commercial Sales APAC team through lead qualification, logistics and general administration, while managing www.merrithew.com web orders, in-bound customer calls, preparing Saved Carts reports and distribution of leads and delivering excellent service to Merrithew® partners and direct clients.
Major Responsibilities
- Provide support to drive sales towards quarterly APAC Team Sales Objectives.
- Coordination of inbound departmental email throug h www.merrithew.com, social media and tradeshows.
- Order processing for commercial products on www.merrithew.com to include freight quotation, payment processing, upselling of products and management reporting.
- Answering in-bound customer sales calls and responding to/escalating customer issues to the Customer Care team.
- Maintenance of the CRM Database by updating customer records (address, email, contacts).
- Managing potential leads in CRM, creating leads or opportunities, and assigning to sales team for follow up
- Providing in-office support, managing demo equipment inventory for trade show advance and onsite sales
- Providing support to the department in the financial area by printing invoices and updating Sage AccPac records for sales managers, such as: ship to locations, customer A/P & A/R records, and creating credit notes and return authorizations.
- Generate and distribute sales and inventory reports (e.g. Sales Person Reports, Daily Sales, Monthly Promotion Sales Analysis) Saved Carts Reports and other reports as required.
- Designing studio layouts for clients using EC Design and sending saved cart leads every day.
- Lead qualification and research into new sales channels, as directed.
- Covering off on Sales Managers and other Sales Coordinator’s duties during vacation time, sick leave, and other out of office situations.
- Working on some of the stat holidays as directed and planned in advance.
- Additional projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications
- 2+ years in a supporting role to sales and customer service teams.
- Additional languages, spoken and written, are a definite asset. Specifically, Mandarin, Korean, and/or Japanese.
- Logistics experience is considered to be an asset.
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation proficiency
- CRM expertise with data entry and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in articulating ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders
