Within our organization, Sales Executives are responsible for securing new customers across multiple businesses, i.e. Supply Chain Management, NVOCC, Air, CHB, and Domestic Logistics. Requirements for this role:
- Cultivates relationships with target accounts to understand their challenges and objectives in order to customize and present value solutions and pricing that results in securing new business.
- Conducts and analyzes market research using various sales tools to identify target account opportunities in international and domestics supply chain through Panjiva, social media, industry events, and the Collaborative Sell program.
- Collaborates with internal team members to prepare for RFI/RFQs and presentations of OOCL Logistics services, then deliver presentations to interested customers.
- Ensures strong relationships with existing customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and further upsell of additional products and services.
- Provides weekly updates of sales activities; and upon securing new customers, reports services and customer requirements for implementation.
- Liaises with Corporate and Origin offices regarding service opportunities and disruptions.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 5 years or more experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding companies
- Industry experience/transferrable skills
- Required Travel: 25%, or as needed to cover the sales territory.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; i.e. Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint.
