About the role

Overview The Finance Associate Coordinator - Full Service Vending & Pricing contributes to the Pepsi Company’s success by acting as an integral part of the Canadian Business Unit Finance team. The role will be responsible for all accounting aspects of our Full Service Vending business and will work closely with Sales and Operations. The role will also interacted closely with the Pricing Supervisor and complete duties aiding in the pricing validation and confirmations. He/she will manage account setup, customer commissions, GL reconciliations, period close procedures, analytics related to our FSV business and will manage all GCS related controls. Success in this role will require strong organizational and analytical skills. They should be results-driven, have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • FSV Account Management including customer, supplier and equipment setup
  • Full management of our FSV Commission payment processes
  • Responsible for reconciliation of GL accounts related to our FSV business
  • Period close procedures related to asset values analysis
  • Complete journal entries as required
  • Periodic balance sheet reconciliation reporting and variance analysis
  • Periodic Pricing and customer expiration reviews and verification
  • Aid the Pricing Supervisor in ensuring pricing is entered into Smart Deal and/or SAP in a timely manner
  • Complete weekly and periodic reporting as necessary
  • Follow up on missing price increases
  • Monitor customer increases and escalate non-increases
  • Maintain high level of controls in accordance with our Global Control Standards (GCS)
  • Support finance/sales team as required with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Education in Accounting / Business an asset
  • Experience in consumer products industry an asset
  • GL / Report reconciliation experience required
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required
  • Ability to act with integrity and in a professional manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
