SHIFT: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position involves working within a team environment and ensuring accurate collation, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products. Responsibilities also include:
- Setting-up and organizing kit packing for multiple customers
- Assist in overseeing the Kitting team, troubleshooting, setting-up sample kits for approval and ensuring staff are completing the work accurately
- Ability to calculate timing for handwork and kitting times for Estimating
- Respect and abide by all Health and Safety policies
- Report any issues to the Kitting Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
- Must have strong computer skills to manage work, in particular knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets to create mail merges, create labels.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is an asset
- Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Capable of standing for long durations
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness are essential
- Ability to read and understand instructions, follow procedures, and work with minimal supervision
- Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to Reliability level
