SHIFT: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position involves working within a team environment and ensuring accurate collation, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products. Responsibilities also include:

  • Setting-up and organizing kit packing for multiple customers
  • Assist in overseeing the Kitting team, troubleshooting, setting-up sample kits for approval and ensuring staff are completing the work accurately
  • Ability to calculate timing for handwork and kitting times for Estimating
  • Respect and abide by all Health and Safety policies
  • Report any issues to the Kitting Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
  • Must have strong computer skills to manage work, in particular knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets to create mail merges, create labels.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is an asset
  • Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Capable of standing for long durations
  • Attention to detail and quality consciousness are essential
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, follow procedures, and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to Reliability level
