Position Description:
We currently have an exciting role for a Hydrovac Operator in our Edmonton location. Must have a clean pre-employment/pre-access A&D testing.
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive a Hydrovac or Combo truck.
- Perform high pressure wash and industrial vac in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, and breaks, troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
- Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
- Follow safety policies and procedures for transporting materials.
- Maintain Logbooks, timesheets, and work orders according to rules and regulations.
- Must work well with others
- Additional duties may be required
Qualifications
- Minimum Class 3 License
- Class 1 License preferred
- Must be able to work out of town when needed
- 2 - 5 years Truck driving experience
- Clean drivers abstract,
- Experience in waste is considered an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Experience:
- Truck driving in all weather conditions (3 years)
