Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer at Columbia Industries Ltd., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects and designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, reports, and project plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during the design and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills..
