Personal Account Advisor
Reports to: Personal Lines Manager
Summary: Responsible maintaining and growing a personal lines book of business through renewal retention, upselling, cross selling

Job Duties
- Customer service to clients within book of business
- Accepting referral business and quoting to help grow book of business
- Handling the clients’ file activities start to finish to maintain retention targets
- Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with insurers
- Reviewing and processing renewals
- Processing endorsements and midterm changes
- Rewriting/remarketing where necessary to enhance the client experience
- Initiating and providing guidance in the claims process
- Contributing to premium growth targets by upselling appropriate coverages and referring business to other lines where applicable
- Outbound calling to existing Cal LeGrow Clients for New Business Opportunities
- Providing assistance to the Sales Team when required
Requirements
- High school diploma. A post-secondary diploma or degree will be an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Valid property and casualty insurance representative license or the ability to promptly satisfy the requirements for licensing.
- An industry professional designation such as CAIB or CIP will be an asset, or interest in professional development.
- Client-focused with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Extremely well organized with excellent analytical skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and supportive attitude.
