Position Title: Housekeeper

Location: Rocky View Lodge
Reports To: Head Housekeeper
Schedule: Days 7 AM - 3 PM, Evenings 3 - 11 PM

Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our senior residents. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and has a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and furniture are kept clean and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
- Regularly clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.

Laundry Services:
- Manage the collection, washing, drying, and returning of residents’ personal laundry and linens.
- Ensure proper handling and care of residents' garments to avoid damage.

Waste Management:
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Follow proper protocols for the disposal of hazardous waste materials.

Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and store them according to regulatory guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.

- Maintain a respectful and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Be attentive to the needs and preferences of residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or residential setting.

Night Housekeeper Job Description
Schedule: 11 PM - 7 AM
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our senior residents. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and has a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, hallways, and bathrooms.
- Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks in accordance with the lodge’s standards.
- Vacuum, mop, and dust all designated areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with lodge policies.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Laundry Services:
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and personal clothing items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.

Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Ensure all entrances and exits are secure during the night shift.
