We are seeking an experienced Controller to fill a newly created vacancy. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the full financial picture and play a strategic role in shaping operational efficiency and profitability within a dynamic fabrication environment.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance
• Leading month-end and year-end closing processes
• Managing cash flow, job costing, and financial analysis to support business decisions
• Coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Partnering with senior leadership to improve financial processes and internal controls
• Supervising accounting staff and mentoring team members
• Supporting capital expenditure planning and long-term strategic goals
• Implementing ERP systems and financial reporting tools

Mandatory Requirements:

• CPA designation in good standing
• 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Proven experience in a controller role with full-cycle accounting responsibilities
• Strong background in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system knowledge
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with project-based accounting and job costing
• Hands-on implementation of financial process improvements or system upgrades
• Exposure to both private and public company financial reporting standards

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000
