About the role
LiftWerx is a specialized wind energy contractor which performs large corrective repairs, utilizing both ground-based cranes as well as up-tower cranes. LiftWerx offers both specialized equipment and experienced personnel to perform corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbines.
This role is an on-site position based out of our office in Cambridge, ON.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust, transparency, and mutual success.
- Client-Centric Account Planning: Develop and execute customized account strategy that aligns with client’s goals, investment timelines, and operational priorities.
- Proactive Communication: Maintain regular, structured communication with clients through meetings, site visits, and performance reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Needs Assessment & Solution Alignment: Deeply understand client’s business model, technical requirements, and strategic objectives to recommend tailored solutions.
- Relationship Expansion: Identify and cultivate opportunities to expand relationships within client organizations, including engaging with new departments, decision-makers, and project teams.
- Client Advocacy: Represent the voice of the client internally, ensuring their feedback, concerns, and future needs are clearly communicated to engineering and field service teams.
- Issue Resolution & Support Coordination: Act swiftly to resolve client issues, coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely, effective solutions that reinforce trust and reliability.
- Value Demonstration: Regularly present performance metrics, ROI analyses, and case studies to demonstrate the value delivered through the company’s services.
- Client Retention & Loyalty: Drive high levels of client satisfaction and retention by consistently delivering on commitments and exceeding expectations.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client-hosted forums to strengthen relationships and stay attuned to evolving client needs and market dynamics.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Experience in the wind industry is an asset
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, understand, and communicate the operation of equipment and technical processes.
