As VP of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving revenue growth, elevating brand presence, and leading high-performance teams across Canada and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and lead 1, 3, and 5-year sales and marketing roadmaps to support aggressive growth targets
- Refine go-to-market strategy across both Canadian and U.S. regions, focusing on market expansion and brand elevation
- Drive performance metrics including customer acquisition, revenue per customer, and territory penetration
Sales Team Leadership
- Recruit, coach, and manage regional Sales Managers and their teams
- Implement scalable systems, KPIs, and accountability structures to ensure consistent execution
- Foster a results-driven culture grounded in structure, transparency, and continuous development
Marketing Strategy & Brand Building
- Oversee marketing initiatives from campaign development and segmentation to digital lead generation
- Evolve the brand to support growth ambitions and market relevance
- Ensure alignment between brand messaging, customer needs, and market positioning across North America
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Lead sales growth in underdeveloped markets across North America
- Support key account strategies and showroom development efforts
- Collaborate with product and operations to align offerings with emerging customer needs
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure coordinated execution
- Leverage insights from CRM and market data to inform strategy and adapt quickly
Travel & Field Engagement
- Design and execute a travel plan that prioritizes in-person engagement, client discovery, and territory development
- Ensure visibility in the field to support market intelligence and team effectiveness
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience, ideally in home décor, textiles, soft goods or adjacent sectors
- Proven track record of driving multi-region revenue growth and building high-performing teams
- Experience leading digital sales transformations (CRM, automation, analytics)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Canada and the U.S. (20-30% travel component)
