Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for an Identity Governance and Administration Consultant to lead the assessment, design, and implementation planning of comprehensive IGA solutions.
Responsibilities:
The consultant will play a critical role in evaluating the current state of identity management systems, defining requirements, designing a future-state architecture, and supporting the procurement and implementation process. This role requires strong expertise in identity management, solution architecture, and strategic roadmap development.
• Current State Assessment:
o Conduct a thorough assessment of the current identity management processes and systems.
o Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in the existing identity governance framework.
o Deliver a detailed report of findings with actionable recommendations.
• Requirements Definition:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements for the IGA solution.
o Develop use cases for common identity lifecycle scenarios, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
• Solution Design and Architecture:
o Create a high-level conceptual and technical architecture for a future IGA solution.
o Define integration points with existing systems and applications.
o Recommend a governance model to ensure effective identity management and compliance.
• Implementation Roadmap: Develop a strategic roadmap for the deployment of the IGA solution, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Procurement Support:
o Assist in developing technical specifications for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to procure the IGA solution.
o Provide expertise to evaluate vendor proposals and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
• Provide advisory support during the implementation phase and post-implementation to ensure successful adoption and optimization of the IGA solution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in identity governance and administration, with a focus on IGA solution design and implementation.
• Proven expertise in assessing identity management systems, defining requirements, and developing technical architectures.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle processes, access management, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC).
• Experience with IGA platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, or similar.
• Familiarity with integration protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, SCIM) and enterprise system integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in developing RFPs and supporting procurement processes is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer) are a plus.
Preferred skills:
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex identity governance challenges.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in identity and access management
Hourly Rate: $85.00 - $100.00 Per Hour.
