Job Description
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market(s). Oversees staffing and directs the sales team, providing leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth in alignment with the vision and values of the Refreshment Services organization. Develops plans and strategies focused on new business expansion within the designated geography, as well as the growth and development of existing customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Oversees the performance and development of Sales Consultants.
- Prepares individual and team action plans for the effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate existing markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Conducts one-on-one reviews with all Sales Consultants to enhance communication, assess training and development needs, and provide insights for improving sales performance and activity levels.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Delivers accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect proformas submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margins.
- Maintains accurate records (GP, sales, and activity reports) to effectively manage the performance of Sales Consultants.
- Assists Sales Consultants in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Recruits, evaluates, and hires Sales Consultants based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Relationships and Roles:
Internal / External Cooperation
- Ensures that all Sales Consultants meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets an example for Sales Consultants in areas such as personal character, commitment, organizational skills, selling techniques, and work habits.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling sessions with Sales Consultants to build motivation and enhance selling skills.
- Maintains contact with key clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in dynamic outside sales management environments.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of B2B services and supplier relationship management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work with a diverse team of professionals.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive sales teams.
- Bachelor s degree in a related field, such as Business Management, Marketing, or similar.
